I wrote this short fiction piece for an Advanced Creative Fiction class. “The Beekeeper” is a drama about a the daughter of a beekeeper who is conflicted about doing what will make her father happy versus following her own path.
I wrote this “Coffee Shop Vibes” for a Food Writing class. In this journalism piece, I observe, explore, and interview people at Shenandoah Joe, a local coffee shop in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
I wrote this short nonfiction piece for an Environmental Writing class. This story serves as a love letter to both my hometown and Japan.
